Athletics

Bay View Middle School is proud to offer nine sports. Athletics and student activities are open to all students. We do not cut student athletes and all will participate. If a student wants to try a sport and an activity, our coaches and advisors will work together so that students can attend some or both.

Registration Form for ALL Sports

Please Note: All necessary paperwork must be in by the specified dates and no late registrations will be accepted!

Football & Volleyball- Friday, August 29th
Cross country & Soccer - Friday, September 5th

You may sign up for all sports/activities at one time for the year or one at a time. All students must complete the online registration prior to the first practice. The cost is $20 per sport/activity.

1. Registration Form

Complete all questions in the registration, e.g. medical info, concussion agreement.
Upload signed WIAA Clearance Form (info below)
Pay fee online with credit or debit card

2. Fill out the WIAA Clearance Form (proof of physical)

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination on file in the office before the student is authorized to participate.
The form can either be uploaded during the online registration process or turned into the office.
A physical examination taken April 1, 2024 and thereafter is valid for the following two school years.

Note: No student is allowed to practice without a current physical on file.

2025-2026 BVMS Wrestling

BVMS Team Wrestling - Registration Link (if you plan to register your child, please complete ASAP!)

Team Includes:
-5th & 6th Graders at Lineville (Bus transportation to Bay View provided daily)
-7th & 8th Graders at Bay View
-5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders at St. Johns & St. Marks
-Home schooled students living in the HSSD boundaries
-All experience levels are encouraged.
-Boys & Girls

Tentative Practice Information:
-Practice Daily Monday-Friday 3:30-5:30 at Bay View Middle School
-Practice is expected to begin Monday, 12/15/25 and end Wednesday, 2/25/26
-Competitions occur weeknights (usually Tuesdays) starting at 4:30 and some Saturday Tournaments

FULL SEASON SCHEDULE

Items needed for practice:
-Wrestlers should have clean shorts and a t-shirt daily
-Wrestling shoes and headgear are required (reach out to coach for team headgear)
-Mouth guards are required for wrestlers with braces
-Competition gear will be handed out during practice

Tennis

The last day to sign up for tennis will be Friday, April 4th @ 2:00pm!

Attire

Come dressed and ready to practice with a t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes (or warmer clothes depending on weather).

Please note: This years tennis uniform (shirt) can be purchased for $10.00. They can use them while participating in tennis at Bay View. Please see Mrs. Bieszk (coach) in her physical education office to purchase. Checks can be made out to Bay View Middle School.

Please Note: Daily spring sports can change due to our weather conditions so please be aware of that.

Transportation to away meets will depend on bus and bus drivers availability with Lamers as we get closer to the meets.

Track

The last day to sign up for track will be Friday, April 10th @ 2:00pm!

Schedules

The first day of practice will be April 7th 2:45 - 4:15

Coaches will hand out practice schedules the first week of practice.
