Dear Bay View Middle School Families:

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Bay View Middle School, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our students. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I firmly believe that every child can be successful and that the partnership between home and school builds trust and provides additional clarity for students. In line with our district mission of working with families and community to ensure that our students have the knowledge and skills to succeed in an ever-changing world, I am dedicated to continuous improvement efforts to meet the needs of all students and the adults who support them.

Our school leadership team met with teacher teams this summer to review data and to set goals for the upcoming school year. Your children will learn more about these goals in September.

• Goal 1: Continue to focus on our school climate and sense of belonging for all students as measured by the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA).
• Goal 2: Increase the number of students who score proficient or advanced in English Language Arts as measured by the Wisconsin Forward Exam.
• Goal 3: Increase the amount of feedback that students receive regarding their progress in developing the characteristics of the Graduate Profile.
